    Question

    Hello all,

Does it cost more/less/the same to process and transfer 65 100' rolls of film than 16 400' rolls of film? I'm assuming it takes more time to load, process, and transfer 65 rolls than 16.

    My 2nd Question is:
I can get a 400' mag for about $600. Assuming it does cost less to transfer 16 rolls than 65 would the difference in cost be more/less than $600?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

By my estimate you'll save about $300 shooting with the mag. That's film and processing (color) but not the transfer. I have no idea what the transfer would cost, but I'm guessing that you may save another $300 by going with 400 ft reels. At $600 for the mag it's about break even.

Of course in future you will really save if you already own the mag. smile

    Wink

Thanks for the reply! I think I'll go for the mag.
